Chris Brown hits number one in America and the UK

His new album Fortune might fail in comparison to the opening sales of Brown’s former smash albums, but that doesn’t stop him from making it to the number one spot in two of the world’s biggest music markets, as he hits number one on the album charts in the USA and the UK this week. The new album also gives Chris Brown a number one album in the Netherlands

Fortune debuts with 134.000 copies sold in the US last week. A goal he has also managed to reach with his self titled debut album and last year’s success release F.A.M.E. Though the debut is far off last year’s success release, which has given Chris Brown his second best first week sales with an opening of 270.000 sold copies.
